Considering a DTF Printer?

There are many benefits in choosing a DTF Printer over other technologies, especially when buying from DTFPro™! Some of those benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Extreme stretch tolerance / excellent durability
  • Hot / warm peels and short pressing time
  • Less need for negative space / rasterization / artwork prep
  • Fully automated options - ideal for transfer sheet production for resale
  • Low cost per print
  • High resolution printing / Color vibrance
  • Entry level heat presses are acceptable

The secret to success is proper printer maintenance and adherence to instructions and procedures. You may need to climate control your print room environment, including temperature and humidity regulation. DTF inks and film require a good humidity environment – usually over 50% humidity is highly recommended to minimize risk of ink clogs and film buckling. Please refer to product specific instructions for recommended settings.

These specialty printers must be maintained almost daily. Because DTF printers are ink based, they requires continual use. Lack of use for more than a day or two can cause the ink to clog and lead to longer maintenance cycles possible print defects, especially if the printer is left idle more than a couple of days or proper maintenance on the printer or inks is not conducted.

It is recommended to never take or agree to customer orders until you have learned how to use the printer and have obtained consistent results. DTFPro™ is not responsible for any damages incurred/lost revenue.

Terms of Sale

All Sales Are Final: DTFPro™ maintains an “All sales are final” policy whereas no returns or refunds are permitted. Any issues within the terms of the limited warranty and standard guarantee as outlined below. If a rare circumstance were to arise and a cancellation/return/refund is authorized at our discretion, it may be subject to a 15% restocking fee, including unopened products.

Terms of Payment: All product is 100% payable upon shipment (FOB), unless otherwise stated. See Payment Methods below for available methods.

Sales Tax: Products shipping to the following states will be charged sales tax. Taxation is based on the ship to address of the order. If exempt, customer must provide a signed sales tax exemption form to avoid paying sales tax. Applicable states are California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas. Note that California, Illinois and Florida do NOT accept out of state tax exemptions.

Delays: DTFPro™ is not liable for any delay in the delivery of goods or any damages incurred by the buyer for any such reason due to delays.

Specialty Orders

DTFPro™ Standard Guarantee: DTFPro™ makes every effort to determine if its materials shipped are of good commercial quality. In the event, any material we ship is defective due to faults in manufacture, packaging, or through some other fault of DTFPro™ and its vendors, then DTFPro™ will repair or replace the defective material at no additional cost to the customer. This is the Buyer's only remedy under this guarantee.

Limited Warranty: All DTF Pro™ branded equipment comes with a 6 Month Limited Warranty from date of purchase on the motherboard only, as long as it’s not touched by liquid/ink or shorted due to liquid/ink touching the printhead or ribbon cables. This DTF PRO™ Limited Warranty does not apply to expendable or consumable parts including, but not limited to: Ink, toner cartridges, drum cartridges, print heads, capping stations, dampers, control boards, cables, waste bottles or any component that touches ink, cleaning solutions or any other liquid (except in cases where the product is DOA). The warranty does not extend to any DTF PRO™ Hardware Product from which the serial number has been removed or that has been damaged or rendered defective as a result of accident, misuse, liquid spills of any kind, abuse, contamination, improper or inadequate maintenance or calibration, or other external causes (such consumable parts are available as spare parts if needed). This includes all electronic boards, cables, power supplies and the like - liquid or ink spills of any kind that can short one or all of these items. Lack of use for more than a day or two can cause the ink to clog and lead to longer maintenance cycles, possible print defects and the need to replace a consumable that is not covered under warranty.

DTF PRO™ prides itself on its outstanding product lines and technical support. If for some reason your product fails, DTF PRO™ stands behind its warranties and assures you the best service possible in a quick and timely manner. Response times are based on local standard business days and working hours where the service is being requested. Unless otherwise stated, all responses are measured from the time the end-user calls until DTF PRO™ has either established a mutually acceptable time for support to be performed, or DTF PRO™ has begun to provide support or remote diagnostics. In some countries, and under certain supplier constraints, response time may vary. If your location is outside the customary service zone, response time may be longer or there may be an additional charge.

This DTF PRO™ Limited Warranty applies only to DTF PRO™ branded hardware products, including without limitation, DTF PRO™ printing supplies sold by or leased from DTF PRO™, its worldwide affiliates, authorized resellers, authorized distributors, or country distributors. DTF PRO™ will not cover expenses incurred by unauthorized repair centers or technicians. Any such repair must be approved by DTF PRO™ in advance.

The term "DTF PRO™ branded hardware" is limited to the hardware components and required firmware and DOES NOT include software applications or programs, non-DTF PRO™ products, or non-DTF PRO™ branded peripherals. To the extent permitted by local law, all non-DTF PRO™ products or non-DTF PRO™ branded peripherals external to the DTF PRO™ Hardware Product—such as external storage subsystems, displays, computers and other peripherals — are provided "AS IS" and are not covered by this DTF PRO™ Limited Warranty. However, non-DTF PRO™ manufacturers and suppliers or publishers may provide their own warranties directly to you. DTF PRO™ warrants to the original purchaser of equipment is free from defects in material and workmanship with a 6 Month Limited Warranty from date of purchase. To the extent permitted by local law, DTF PRO™ guarantees that it will repair or replace, at DTF PRO™’s option, a DTF PRO™ Hardware Product that manifests a defect in materials or workmanship during the Limited Warranty Period, if you, the end-user customer, provides DTF PRO™ with notice of a defect in the DTF PRO™ Hardware Product during the Limited Warranty Period.

DTF PRO™’s obligation under this DTF PRO™ Limited Warranty, at its option, to repair or replace a DTF PRO™ Hardware Product that manifests a defect in materials and workmanship ceases upon the expiration of the Limited Warranty Period.

Choice of Law and Venue: The laws of the State of New York shall apply to and have control of the interpretation and validity of this agreement. Any dispute over the terms of this agreement or arising out of this agreement shall be litigated in the Federal and State general courts in and for Suffolk County, New York.

Storage, Loss, and Damage

Keep all packaging materials for carrier inspection. Notify DTFPro™ immediately upon receipt of goods. We will only consider shortage, loss, and damage claims if notified within two days of receipt of goods. For outgoing shipments, always insure your shipments and package consumables and media in the original boxes whenever possible. DTFPro™ is not responsible to damaged incoming product.

In the event that product is received and determined defective or damaged, the buyer should notify DTFPro™ as soon as possible (please provide a detailed explanation with pictures). DTFPro™ will remedy the situation by either repairing the product, replacing the defective or damaged goods, and in some cases refunding or providing credit to the buyer (on account for repurchase).

Payment Methods

Credit Card: We accept all major credit cards, including American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Discover. Orders over a certain limit may require additional verification pertaining to KYC (Know your customer).

Affirm: We offer Affirm payment plans on most items with rates ranging from 0–36% APR. Payment options through Affirm are subject to an eligibility check and are provided by these lending partners: www.affirm.com/lenders.
